Greta Thunberg Found Guilty of a Crime

How many of you saw this coming? Greta Thunberg, the former child face of climate change, has officially broken the law and been arrested – twice, in fact.

According to the Daily Mail, Thunberg was among several who were arrested for blocking a road in the Swedish city of Malmo on June 19. The charge could carry a jail sentence of six months. However, as prosecutor Charlotte Ottesen told the media, it usually just means a fine.

In Thunberg’s case, she was fined the Swedish equivalent of $240.

After being released, she made a short stop with media outlets, decrying her actions as just and necessary to “save the world.”

She even had the audacity to say that she had better things to do than abide by the rules and stand there in court defending herself.

As CBS reported, she said, “We cannot save the world by playing by the rules.”

And so, you can bet that as soon as she was released, she went right back out and did the same crime again – again getting arrested.

As Reuters reported, she went right back to the same oil terminal in Malmo and again blocked the road.

Again, she claims her actions were just.

“We are in an emergency; due to that, my acting was legitimate.”

She went on to claim that she was trying to prevent an emergency “that threatens life, health, and property. Countless people and communities are at risk both in the short term and in the long term.”

It is noted that this is all coming from a high school dropout whose only claim to fame is that she felt sorry for the environment and had parents who let her do whatever she wanted about it.

Now, she has no job experience, education, scientific degrees, environmental sense, and a criminal background.

And yet, she’s trying to tell the world what we should be doing to save it?

Forgive me if I get my research elsewhere.
