A House Judiciary Committee panel held a hearing on Monday in New York. The hearing is to highlight the fact that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has been ignoring very real crimes in the city, as he engages in a Trump Derangement Syndrome witch hunt against a former president. But Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) says that New Yorkers actually have nothing to worry about. All that crime that Fox News and the New York Post keep talking about doesn’t really exist!
Nadler says he will “come out swinging” in defense of Bragg at the hearing.
“We will show the essentially fraudulent nature of what Jim Jordan and company are claiming about the crime rates in New York and compared to other cities, including Republican-led cities.”
Nadler didn’t specify which claims of Rep. Jordan (R-OH) were fraudulent. Then again, Nadler seems to live in a fantasy world inside his own head.
The New York Congressman famously stated, “That’s a myth” back during the Summer of George Floyd when he was asked about the billions of dollars in damages that Antifa was doing to American cities. Nadler also claimed in the first Articles of Impeachment against Donald Trump that he could read the intent that was in the president’s mind while he was on the phone with the Ukrainian president. (The Articles of Impeachment really said that. Look it up.)
It looks like Jerrold Nadler’s superpowers are mind-reading and gaslighting New Yorkers. Violent crime is up more than 20% year-to-year in New York City after Bragg took over. And even that was still way higher compared to 2019, pre-Antifa, and pre-BLM.
It’s a mystery as to why New Yorkers keep reelecting Jerrod Nadler. He certainly isn’t willing to do anything for his constituents, if he won’t even admit crime is way up.
