The Scam Is Over: Largest Offshore Wind Farm Auction in History Results in ZERO Bids
As the nations of the European Union rush to become “carbon neutral” by 2045, Denmark has hit a bit of a snag. Denmark has an obvious problem when it comes to green energy. It’s a tiny peninsular country. There’s no room for huge banks of solar panels or windmills. They thought their solution was going to be to auction the rights to build massive wind farms in the North Sea. Unfortunately, they’ve received ZERO bids for the idea.
Thursday of last week was the final day for green energy companies to submit bids for the project. Not a single one came in. Denmark’s Climate and Energy Minister Lars Aagaard says that the results are “very disappointing” and “not at all what was expected.”
LOL!
Companies are obviously reacting to the big wind power failures this winter in Germany. The country has built massive offshore wind farms while shutting down reliable nuclear and natural gas power plants. It seemed like a good idea at the time!
When a low-pressure system moved over the North Sea last month, however, every single one of Germany’s windmills stopped spinning. The windmills provided many gigawatts of power when the wind was blowing. But normal winter weather shut them all down.
The result was that Germany suddenly had to import natural gas for everyone to heat their homes last month. Everyone’s energy bill skyrocketed as a result.
The fact that not a single company would bid on Denmark’s massive wind farm auction is a very good sign for the world. The windmill scam is finally coming to an end. Global warming is not a real problem. Even if global warming was real, windmills, solar panels, and electric cars would never be the solution.
