Canada Passes Border Security Bill Over Trump Tariff Threats
Justin Trudeau put in every effort to flex his dictator muscles during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially after Donald Trump left office in 2021. Trudeau imposed vaccine mandates and seized the bank accounts of anyone who didn’t comply. He had the cops run over elderly Indigenous ladies with their horses if they protested. He even had pastors arrested for holding church services (just like Ron DeSantis). But now that Donald Trump is about to triumphantly return to the White House for four more years, Trudeau is suddenly being reminded that he’s not such a big dog after all.
President-elect Trump has vowed to impose 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico if they don’t beef up their border security immediately. Trudeau believes that Trump is crazy enough to do it, so his government sprang into action.
The Canadian government has committed to spending $1.3 billion on border security over the next six years. The money will be spent to enhance and grow the RCMP, Public Safety Canada, the Canada Border Services Agency, and more. The province of Alberta has launched its own version of a border patrol agency as well, although most illegal aliens don’t cross the border in that part of the country.
Approximately 23,000 illegal aliens were caught along the Canadian border in the 12-month period that ended in October. That’s more than double the number from a year ago. It is a trickle compared to the millions that have come across the US-Mexico border.
The point is that after all these years of ignoring the US-Canadian border, Trudeau is suddenly hopping to attention. Trump ordered Trudeau to jump and little Justin asked how high. The disrespect that America had on the world stage due to Joe Biden’s ineptitude is about to come to an end completely.
