It’s an amazing time in history when one of the most biased outlets in the nation, The Washington Post, is unable to believe its reality.
Working in conjunction with ABC News, they conducted a poll about the 2024 Presidential Elections. It was there that they discovered Trump would win by a whopping 10%. With votes tallying for Trump to receive 52% of the vote to Biden’s 42%, they immediately began to shovel it on and doubt their own work.
In a statement, they claimed, “The Post-ABC poll shows Biden trailing Trump by 10 percentage points at this early stage in the election cycle, although the sizable margin of Trump’s lead in this survey is significantly at odds with other public polls that show the general election contest a virtual dead heat. The difference between this poll and others, as well as the unusual makeup of Trump’s and Biden’s coalitions in this survey, suggest it is probably an outlier.”
Competitor ABC reported Trump had risen by 3% in their polls, and Biden dropped by 2% since their February polls. Based on their findings, they, too, tried to make the Washington Post’s results look to make very little sense.
However, the results of the poll also showed a major shift amongst non-party affiliated but left-leaning voters. A whopping 3 in 5 want anyone other than Biden to win the nomination. With no front runner among other candidates, nobody can figure out who they want to step up and fail, but they know if it’s Biden going against Trump, they now know they won’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell.
They also unearthed a rampant shift in the approvals for Trump’s Presidency. With 48% reporting they approved of his time in office in retrospect, 49% are still bitter and disapproving. Considering his approval rating sank to 38% following the events of January 6th, he has come a long way. Many wonder if it will prove to be enough in the long run.
For outlets like the WaPo, polls like this are their lifeblood. Any time they come back with a very pro-Biden result, they tout it like it’s the proof they need to just hang it up and declare Biden the winner. Now that it shows up that Trump would decimate Biden, they downplay it as if it’s a fluke or something they shouldn’t take seriously.
The fact of the matter is, polls like this aren’t the most important things to be considering as we close in on the end of 2023. They are a terrific tool for establishing what MIGHT happen going forward, but they are not the be-all and end-all. It can, however get the American people to better support the candidate they want to be representing the Republicans when it’s time to cast their official ballot. From voting in primaries to going and campaigning for the candidate, there is a lot the average citizen can do to get involved.
As a result of this poll, the rumblings about Biden pushing to allow the illegal to vote in the Presidential election with his new Department of Homeland Security-issued IDs are growing louder. Much the same, so are the ones that declare that Biden is planning on making all the illegals into full citizens just in time to vote. God knows with the numbers they are showing up in, they could make a massive difference in the elections.
Sanctuary Cities like New York and Chicago are taking many of them in, only to re-distribute them in other areas, coincidentally enough, largely conservative areas. This result of their virtue signaling isn’t working out just like they thought it would, so now is the time to flood the nation with illegals turned staunch leftists.
Compromised of 1,006 random adults, the survey was taken between 15 and 20 September and featured a 3.5% margin of error.
