For years, those who suggested that the COVID-19 virus was leaked, accidentally or otherwise, from a lab in Wuhan, China, were labeled “conspiracy theorists.” The National Institute of Health, led by “I am science” Anthony Fauci, continued to cling to the zoological origin theory, repeating the same bat-time, same bat-channel disinformation even as evidence suggesting otherwise mounted daily.
Then, without any apology for the mass administration-led censorship of the alleged “conspiracy theorists” or the continued spread of false information, the Wuhan lab leak was confirmed, and Fauci himself had his fingerprints all over the leak.
But recently, disturbing evidence has emerged that the COVID-virus was being studied much closer to home nearly a year before the pandemic crippled the world. And Fauci, the golden child of the Biden administration, is once again implicated, according to the findings of the White Coat Waste Project.
The WCW Project is a non-profit United States organization that advocates for transparency, accountability, and fiscal responsibility in government-funded animal testing. They focus on exposing and eliminating wasteful and unnecessary experiments on animals in research, particularly those conducted using taxpayer funds.
They have uncovered shocking news that COVID research was being conducted within the United States over a year prior to the pandemic.
In 2018, the NIH’s Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Montana, which received funding from the National Institutes of Health and was under the supervision of Fauci, exposed 12 Egyptian fruit bats to a SARS-like virus known as WIV1. The virus had been shipped from the Wuhan laboratory, which has now been confirmed to be the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was part of a joint project between the lab and the Wuhan Institute of Virology collaborator Ralph Baric of the University of South Carolina.
Adding another nauseating layer to the revelation is the origin of the bats used for the experiments.
Anthony Bellotti, President and founder of the White Coat Waste Project, stated:
“Our investigation has uncovered the real-life horror story of how a shady roadside zoo whose curator was an NIH animal experimenter shipped off bats to a deadly government virus lab overseen by Dr. Fauci to be infected with a coronavirus obtained directly from the Wuhan lab that experts believe caused COVID.”
According to records, as of April 2023, the facility in question, Catoctin Wildlife Preserve, was housing 523 federally regulated animals, including 241 bats, of which forty-one were Egyptian fruit bats. The preserve has faced numerous animal rights violations prior to the recent disclosure.
In the 2018 experiment, researchers obtained 12 Egyptian fruit bats from the zoo and exposed them to the WIV1-coronavirus, which is a coronavirus initially identified in Chinese rufous horseshoe bats.
The experiments were outlined in a recently rediscovered research paper published in the journal Viruses in 2018. The paper detailed the existence and the nature of experiments that had been conducted at the laboratory.
The research findings indicated that the WIV1-coronavirus did not induce a strong infection in the Egyptian fruit bats, observing only limited evidence of virus replication. While scientists are aware that SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for the illness COVID-19, belongs to a family of viruses that have been identified in certain horseshoe bats, it’s interesting to note that the experiments found that the infected Egyptian fruit bats had a minimal risk of spreading COVID-19.
In other words, this experimentation may have provided some evidence contradicting the Fauci-pushed narrative that the pandemic began with a zoological jump from bats to humans as early as 2018.
Surprisingly. a sizable portion of the world’s gain-of-function virus research doesn’t happen in China. Much of the research takes place in the United States. U.S. officials are quietly shuttering such experimental research, including the discontinuation of a taxpayer-funded project known as DEEP VZN that had a budget of $125 million and was intended to run through 2026.
DEEP VZN, launched in October 2021, was designed to search for and investigate new viruses in wildlife across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. But in July 2023, the project was shut down without any public announcement a full three years prior to its scheduled closing. The news was buried within a lengthy congressional budget document spanning hundreds of pages and was only revealed through investigative journalistic efforts.
These revelations, brought to light only through the tireless investigative efforts of external sources, provide a troubling insight into the United States’ involvement in gain-of-function research. Although the virus did not originate from the Montana lab, this information raises valid concerns about the safety of such research within the nation’s borders.
And this newly revealed bombshell proves that an already discredited Fauci can fall even further from grace.
