Former President Donald Trump may have just been indicted by the Department of Justice. But according to rock star Gene Simmons, it still won’t deter him from becoming our next president.
Simmons, who is most known as the frontman for the rock band KISS, appeared on Piers Morgan’s “Uncensored” talk show on Thursday and said as much.
Naturally, Trump has been all over the news lately, as he is not only a presidential candidate but a former president who was just indicted on 37 counts of mishandling classified documentation. The political left, as well as much of Hollywood and mainstream media, have unsurprisingly assumed that this will be the end for Trump.
However, as Simmons told Morgan, it would likely only propel him even closer to the Oval Office.
Morgan asked Simmons point blank who he thought would win the 2024 presidential election. And without hesitation, Simmons replied: “Donald Trump.”
Morgan, as well as members of the audience, were shocked. Simmons noted that it wasn’t necessarily what he wanted to happen, but based on polling, the state of the country, and Joe Biden’s failing health, it seems to be the most likely future.
Gene Simmons tells Piers Morgan he thinks Donald Trump will win the next election.

Simmons explained himself by basically saying that all Trump, or anyone for that matter, would have to do is “run a 30-second sizzle reel showing Mr. Biden falling down.”
He then discussed just how popular Trump is, despite his recent legal troubles and supposed scandals. And Morgan was forced to agree, noting that polling currently and still places him “roaring ahead in the polls to become the Republican nominee.”
On the other hand, Biden has only lost more support in the last week, as yet another major blunder has left the world wondering about his mental state. If you hadn’t heard, he called Britain’s new prime minister, Rishi Sunak, “Mr. President.”
Simmons admits that he thinks Biden has good “ethics and morality,” but his ability to physically do his job is questionable. And as we all know, you can’t have that kind of questionability in the White House.
Hence, he predicts a Trump win.
